The radio phone-in. Love them or hate them, they have become airwave essentials when it comes to talking the talk. But how often have you yelled at callers as they reflect anything but the way you live you life?
Friday night will see Gino Meriano founder of Pink Weddings speaking about Civil Partnerships on BBC Radio 5 Live’s Stephen Nolan Show from 11pm. Expecting the usual response from late night listeners Gino has requested that you send or call your thoughts in.
The debate will look at where Civil Partnerships are three years on. 8,000 Civil Partnerships later - are they working for you? Have attitudes changed thanks to the legislation? Do you feel – like a certain Pete Burns - they are not destined to work? Is the recent High Court decision to allow a register not to carry out Civil Partnerships further discrimination and what is your experience of Civil Partnerships? 5 Live would also like to hear from couples about their experiences – has becoming “civil partnered” been a success or a nightmare? The dial tone awaits you.

This news just through from Gino Meriano about tonights guest on Radio 5 Live's Civil Partnership phone in.
"In tonight’s programme Lynette Burrows will be speaking against Civil Partnerships and gay families.
In an interview on Sky in 2005 with myself, Mike and Lynette she described the whole matter as revolting, that she could tolerate it but finds this stomach heaving.
Warned by Police over Gay comments when posed with the statement “Agree or not, ultimately something which allows 2 people to commit into each other in a faithful way must be a good step”, Lynette Burrows disagreed and used the term “2 cannibals.” She further likens the government's steps to provide legal parity for gay couples as “just sentimental”
Show your support tonight, it’s important we are not looked upon as second class and paramount we are seen as equal in a modern society when it comes to building stable relationships and families."
