DJ Howard Donald likes to play down the fact that he is, in reality, Howard-from-Take-That and the Honeyclub certainly respected that with a low-key billing at this month’s Time sessions.

A small but extremely friendly, up-for-it crowd lapped up Howard’s electro/hard house set. No screaming middle-aged mothers crowding round the booth here, just a laid-back mix of hardened Brighton clubbers - both straight and gay, visiting weekenders and the inevitable hen party all confirming for me yet again that the Honeyclub is miles ahead of your average rowdy seafront club.

The Revenge/Charles St Kemptown massive should stray down here more often because it really was all about the music this evening.
